Leaving Gosford: A Suggestion from Zeke
This was the day I finally left Gosford and headed toward Newcastle. But before getting to Newcastle, Zeke said, "There are a few places I'd like to show you. If you want, we can load your bike in the car and go together—what do you think?" I liked that kind of offer.
My journey isn't just about traveling by bike, so I decided this was a good chance to mix things up. Let's go for it.
Bateau Bay and the Beautiful Coastline
This place is Bateau Bay. Nearby there's also a spot called The Entrance, with beautiful scenery along the coast.
The coastline has a lot of ups and downs, so it can be pretty tough on a bike. Zeke showed me around all these places.

After that, I got to ride a jet ski driven by one of Zeke's friends.

Arriving in Newcastle: Starting My Stay at Julie's Place
Zeke drove me all the way to Newcastle, and I arrived.
I'm now staying at Julie's place. We'd been in touch on social media for a while, and since one of my goals for this trip is to write a book, she said, "If you're writing a book, feel free to use my place. Make yourself at home." So that's where I'm staying. I had some delicious food, and now I'm really looking forward to exploring Newcastle.
