3 Nights That Flew By in an Instant
This was the day I finally left Adelaide. Honestly, those 3 nights and 4 days just flew by. It was such an intense and meaningful trip. Without the support of Kim and their family, I never could've had such a fun and fulfilling time. I'm truly grateful.
Heading to Adelaide Airport

Here we are at Adelaide Airport. They even drove me all the way here. Australian airports are so close to major cities—I'm honestly jealous.

Then it was time to board the plane.
A Strange Sight from the Window

There was something really interesting I noticed from the window. As we flew from Adelaide toward Sydney, at a certain point, the ground below turned completely black. At first, I thought it might've been a bushfire, or maybe the aftermath of one.
But apparently, it was just forest. Still, I couldn't quite wrap my head around how trees could line up so perfectly in a straight line like that. I tried to accept it, but it didn't fully make sense to me.
Back in Sydney

Once I got home, I opened the presents from the family in Adelaide. Socks and a hat.
The socks have a crumpet design—you know, those round, griddled breads you get at cafés. They're absolutely delicious with honey on top. I received socks featuring that as the motif.
And then the hat. It's got a team design from AFL (Australian Football League)—a popular sport in Australia that's kind of similar to rugby.
Since it's still winter in Japan right now, gifts like these are seriously helpful.
