From the Fast Lane to Finding My Footing
I've been staying in Japan for about a month and a half now, and lately, I've finally found some breathing room. Looking back, my previous travels were always a whirlwind—living life in the fast lane and giving it absolutely everything I had. But right now, things have beautifully slowed down. I spend my time wandering around the garden, letting my mind finally find a sense of peace.
Noticing the Little Things

There's an old dog's grave in the yard. It's weathered, its colors softly fading with time. I've started noticing these tiny details that I might have rushed past before. Even something as simple as spotting a stray golf ball during a walk and putting it back in its place gives me this profound, grounding feeling of being truly alive.
The Colors of the Day and Heartwarming Moments

My absolute favorite time of day is around 4 PM, when I take my daily stroll. The atmosphere outside is just stunning, painted in hues that I completely adore. I also find so much joy in catching the sunrise at 5 AM or watching the sunset beautifully illuminate the path ahead.
Coming home and having a warm meal brings its own kind of comfort. There's something incredibly heartwarming about witnessing gentle, everyday scenes—like a grandfather and grandmother giving each other a shoulder massage.

The Perfect Way to End the Day
The ultimate reward, though, comes right after a hot bath. Just kicking back, drinking a glass of water, and gazing out at the open sky is pure bliss. It brings this deep, satisfying feeling of a day well lived and successfully completed.

Outside of my working hours, this peaceful, grounded routine is exactly how I choose to spend my days.
