Starting from North Sydney
I started from the northern part of Sydney. From here, the road has a lot of ups and downs. The route from Sydney to Newcastle is pretty much set—there aren't that many options. So you just have to follow it, but there are these constant, subtle hills that keep going on and on.
This is where I'm taking a break.

Seriously though, my load is so long that the whole bike looks like two bikes connected together. So even just stopping is a struggle. Some places are harder to park than others, so I'm being careful and managing as best I can.
145 km to Newcastle
It's 145 km to Newcastle. I've covered about 30 km since this morning.

As I was riding, I came across a park and took a break there too.

This road has a narrow bike lane next to the traffic, so it's pretty stressful to ride on. I figured I need to take breaks at spots like this little by little, so I stayed here for a bit.
Cliff-Top Camping with an Amazing View
Going straight from here, I couldn't find anything that looked like a camping spot. I was wondering what to do when I noticed a place through the trees that looked promising.

I went to check it out and it felt like a spot where I could camp, so I decided to go for it. I'm preparing dinner now, and this place is on top of a cliff. The view from here is truly beautiful—you can really feel the nature around you.

This is my first time camping on a cliff like this. I've camped in all sorts of places before, but this is honestly one of my top favorites.
