Morning Sweetness
After finishing my morning tasks, I went to the living room where I was offered orange cake. Its gentle sweetness was perfect for the quiet of the morning. I had two slices, and somehow even my mind felt lighter.
Later, when my host’s wife returned, we went together to the post office. I had gathered items I no longer needed on the journey and decided to send them away. The shipping cost was about 72 dollars, cheaper than I expected. Letting go of extra weight not only made my bags lighter but also gave me a surprising sense of clarity inside.
Rest and Renewal
I went out briefly to buy oatmeal and then returned home. Tiredness caught up with me, and as soon as I lay down, I fell asleep.
When I woke up around five in the afternoon, I felt refreshed enough to do some small tasks. I caught up on social media work and even tried video editing again after a while. By 6:30, it was time for dinner. The warm, lightly salted dishes comforted me, the flavors soaking gently into my body.
Stories That Sparked Inspiration
After dinner, my host shared stories of his own travels, showing me photos from Kazakhstan, Iran, Korea, China, and Japan. The atmosphere of those journeys seemed to flow from the pictures themselves. As I listened and watched, I felt something rise again inside me—a desire to go further, to see more of the world.
Back in my room, I posted a reel on Instagram. Lately, I’ve been sharing bits of my journey on Threads, Podcast, note, and Medium. Posting today felt like another small step forward, part of a growing rhythm of expression.
Grateful for Shelter
By nightfall, rain poured steadily outside.
I thought about what it would have been like to be camping outdoors tonight. That made me realize once again how lucky I was to be staying in this home. It might just be chance, but following the flow that led me here was something I was grateful for.
