A Morning in the Tent

The second morning in Adelaide began with a cool breeze.
At my host’s suggestion, I had pitched my tent in the garden the night before. It felt strange—being in the middle of a city, yet looking up at an open sky, surrounded by silence.
The stillness gave me a calm start to the day.
A Chance Encounter with a Horse

When I asked my host for recommendations, the reply was simple: “Go to the Botanical Gardens.”
On the way, I spotted a horse grazing quietly by the roadside.
I stopped my bike, set it aside, and stood there for a while. Through the lens of my camera, the horse’s gaze met mine.
It was one of those moments only travel creates—the kind of moment that makes you want to stop, even if just for a few minutes.
Adelaide Botanical Garden and Glass Sculptures

The Botanical Garden welcomed me with something unexpected—transparent glass sculptures scattered among the plants.
They shimmered like candy, vivid yet delicate, blending seamlessly into the greenery.
Instead of clashing, nature and art seemed to hold hands here.
In the daylight, the glass caught and refracted the sun, already magical. I learned that at night, the sculptures would glow under lights, transforming the space into another world.
For me, it was enough to enjoy this “transparent escape from the ordinary” under the midday sun.
When Even a Garbage Truck Feels Like Art

On the way back, I noticed a garbage collection truck in the city—“Trailer Bin” painted boldly on its side.
It should have been just another work vehicle. But somehow, it looked impressive, even stylish.
Maybe it was the afterglow of the art at the gardens. Maybe it was simply seeing with a slightly different angle.
Sometimes, the ordinary becomes meaningful just because you allow yourself to notice.
Today was one of those days.
