A Rainy Start and Home-Cooked Gratitude

April 21st started a bit slower than usual. I briefly woke up around 6:00 AM, but after hitting snooze a few times, I finally rolled out of bed at 6:50 AM.
Determined to stick to my personal routine, I headed out for my usual morning walk, but the sky had other plans. Drops of rain started falling almost immediately. I ended up walking the same route I took yesterday, rushing back as the drizzle turned into a proper shower.

When I got home, my aunt (my mother's younger sister) had already prepared a warm meal for me.

Having someone cook for you is such a simple yet profound joy, and I felt incredibly grateful for her kindness.
Tech Experiments and Chores
After eating, I dove into a tech experiment: creating an AI clone of my own voice. I've been wanting to run a podcast while traveling, but finding the time is always a struggle. I figured an automated voice clone could be the perfect workaround to keep the content flowing. However, the setup ended up being far more time-consuming than I anticipated, so I decided to pull the plug for the day and try again tomorrow.
Taking a break from the screen, I helped my grandmother scrub down a stubbornly dirty bathroom shelf.

There's something surprisingly therapeutic about getting your hands dirty and making things shine.
By the time we finished, the rain had cleared up. I stepped outside to soak in some sunshine and reset my mind before digging into a plate of spaghetti for lunch.

Coding "My Life Log": Visualizing Our Remaining Time
The rest of the afternoon and evening were dedicated to coding a web app I’m calling "My Life Log". It's essentially a habit-tracking and life-design tool.

The concept is simple but heavy: assuming an average lifespan of about 80 years, how much time do we actually have left? By calculating that remaining time, the app helps visualize exactly how many hours we can dedicate to our true passions. It also forces you to confront wasted hours—like mindless doom-scrolling on your smartphone—so you can optimize your daily routines.
I built this because it's exactly the kind of tool I need in my own life. I finally got a working prototype up and running around 7:00 PM. I'm sure it's riddled with bugs that I'll have to squash later, but honestly, I'm just thrilled to see my vision come to life and can't wait to keep improving it.
