Morning Light and a Secret Trail

I woke up initially at 5:30 AM, drifted back to sleep, and finally got out of bed at 6:00 AM. I immediately headed out for my morning run. There's something undeniably refreshing about waking up this early; it just feels amazing.
While jogging along my usual route, I spotted an older gentleman I often see. Just past him, off to the left, there was an overgrown, intimidating path that most people would instinctively avoid. I couldn't tell if it was even open to the public, but my curiosity got the better of me and I wanted to check it out. I asked the man, and he gave me the green light to go ahead.

I ventured up the path, and it instantly felt like I had stepped into a dense forest. Running straight into the woods gave me an incredible rush of excitement. The trail was much more winding than my usual paved roads, and it took about two and a half times longer to get through. Still, walking surrounded by nature was an absolutely beautiful experience.
After making it back home, I sat down for breakfast.

My parent had prepared a delicious meat and vegetable stir-fry, packed with plenty of healthy greens. I spent the rest of the day simply taking care of my daily tasks and getting things done.
Golden Hour Runs and Riverside Snacks
As evening approached, I headed out for a walk, which is a regular part of my daily routine. Walking always reminds me of how enjoyable and genuinely uplifting it is to just move my body. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking that evening, so I decided to switch up my route and jog along the riverbank.

I brought along a pre-dinner snack of salad chicken and some protein. I sat there taking in the gorgeous transition from the glowing sunset to the night sky while enjoying my quick bite.
Celebrating 92 Years of Life
I eventually made my way home just in time for dinner. April 20th marks my grandfather's birthday. He remembered it perfectly himself, and we were all set for a spectacular celebration.
We had a lavish dinner planned, but since my grandfather wasn't feeling his absolute best, we toned it down to a "light yet luxurious" feast. I actually thought he was turning 93, but it turns out he just turned 92.
Regardless of the exact number, making it to 92 is an incredible milestone. I sincerely hope he continues to enjoy life and stays with us for many more years to come.
