Two Extra Days in Bitung
It's August 16th, and I'm currently hanging out in Bitung. With Indonesia's Independence Day just around the corner, the streets were decorated with flags and "Merdeka Sale" banners even after dark.
The good news is that I finally decided on my next destination yesterday: Ambon. The catch is that the ferry doesn't leave until the 18th, meaning I've got a two-day layover here to kill.
Hotel Hopping for Better Wi-Fi
I didn't have much planned for this morning. My original plan was to just chill at my current hotel, but the Wi-Fi was completely useless. Since being disconnected isn't an option, I packed my bags and prepared to move to a new place.
Once I got settled into the new hotel, it was time to get things done. I knocked out all my essential tasks. With my to-do list cleared and some unexpected free time on my hands, I actually got to kick back and binge-watch some dramas.
Prepping for the Ferry
I barely covered any distance today. Since I have one more free day tomorrow before the ferry, I'll probably use it to scout out exactly where I need to board and double-check all those little travel details.
